what it means to be blessed
today, i watched two videos: first is a documentary on the trial of the pirate bay founders, second is about a young man who lived life to its fullest until the yesterday, when he passed away from bone cancer… the first video made me realize just how much potential i have to bring about good change to this world… the latter showed me just how much i’ve failed to tap into that...

Learnings from iOS development: Why You Want to... →
zaal:
There has been a lot of buzz around the Apple blogs, news sites and podcasts these days about the terrible state of Core Data iCloud syncing, and how that affects iOS developers. It all kicked off from an article on The Verge, “Why doesn’t iCloud ‘just work’?”
That article triggered off…

Instagram Blog: Updated Terms of Service Based on... →
instagram:
Earlier this week, we introduced a set of updates to our privacy policy and terms of service to help our users better understand our service. In the days since, it became clear that we failed to fulfill what I consider one of our most important responsibilities – to communicate our intentions…
Okay…you rescinded all the stupid policies, but where’s your explanation...

the amount of attack ads i’ve seen in the past three hours on csn (a philly sports channel) are absurd…
i really pray for a day that politicians use their money to show their credentials rather than to give reasons why the opponent isn’t the right choice.

Pay close attention to how Dell stammers when the reporter asks him that with the tablets already out there, why would we want to get a new one?

Web technologies has exploded

It had to be within the last week, but NBA.com totally changed their website from using archaic Flash-based technology to HTML5. Looks a lot cleaner and their mobile site is really nice too.
Over the next few months, expect to see lots of websites being revamped with more “modern” interface. I guess the standard of modern interfaces started with Google. If you on Gmail,...

Microsoft is trying so hard to 'innovate'
But they’re really taking a step backwards with this whole new ‘Metro’ style. I was on their XBox Live site trying to unsubscribe from their emailing list and I just couldn’t find the option to unsubscribe.
It’s such a cluttered interface…I don’t care how modern or ‘cool’ it looks, if I can’t find what I’m looking for, I never...

A fresh start
As I approached the fourth month of the most important project of my life, I decided to start this blog anew. When bread becomes a more established company, people will undoubtedly want to check out the blog of bread’s owner.
Since many of my previous posts were comments on personal thoughts, I thought it best to delete everything and start from the beginning, that is, with the exception...
